Actually, my dream home has nothing to do with otakudom. I love the beach so my dream home's location would be ocean adjacent. I'm also very fond of shipwrecks. They have such a dramatic and surreal appearance that is both eerie and inspiring at the same time. (google image search "visible shipwrecks" awesome stuff) So, if I were an eccentric billionaire, I would live on the beach in a shipwreck. The inside would be converted into a modern home and the entire ship would be made structurally sound. I wouldn't want it to crumble, decay or erode into the ocean!

A cathedral with a semi-modern interior. I'd make it two or three stories and have at least one coffin inside to creep out my visitors.

i dont know about my ideal otaku home exactly, but i when finally own a home i want one room to be japanese style with tatami and have a kotatsu inside. oh and a bathroom like in the anime where they scrub outside the tub, rinse, and then soak in a nice bath. Much better than a regular tub where you jump straight in and soak in your own filth.
