To be honest, I actually got Xenoblade 2 weeks before this fiasco came out.
Buy it from amazon/ebay. It's the only source of site where the real value of a game is.

just thought i would point out that xenoblade chronicles is rare because Monolith Soft didn't feel it would sell well in the US market, and only printed limited copies. the fact that the price is so high is a refection of that not game stop having a monopoly on it.

If you want to play a game that badly, and the one store that has it at the best price for you is the only thing holding you back, then I wouldn't blame the store or the business for a personal problem.
You can't control the retail world, and sadly, there are enough consumers in the world to where big companies can do these things and safely say they don't owe you a damn thing.

Yes. Businesses have the ability to do that. It's not just GameStop. Any specialty retail store can and will do this.
As far as honesty goes, I'm not sure how GameStop has changed much over the years.

That's capitalism. So long as people want to buy it there and for that price, that's what they're going to do. They have a right to not have to change their obviously working model to accommodate your distaste, however you also have the right to not shop there. That's really all there is to it. If you don't like their policies, find your games somewhere else or go without
