Are you guys okay with long a distance relationship?

Hahaha yeah but hay the world can be a very sad place. I my self am a depressed person but I never quit and i'll keep fighting till there's nothing but happiness in my world so I hope all of you do the same.

Long distance relationships can work, but it takes a lot of constant communication and trust. Are you thinking about getting into one?

Yeah it looks that way to me. Due to the nature of my job (Military) and the women in my town I might have to start a long distance relationship. If I like her then I will trust her. I just hope she can do the same. But first I need to find a girl that I like.

I'm not opposed to a long-distance relationship, but I am opposed to a LD-only relationship. Which is to say, a relationship where we don't try to visit each other (once that trust level is there) and where there isn't a concrete, viable plan to eventually live in the same place (once the relationship is serious). I wouldn't mind arranging to meet someone at a con (even if it was one I didn't normally make it to--great excuse to try a new con!), but I'd want to see them outside of that context as well to make sure we were a good long-term fit.

I'm somewhat ok with it, I have had problems with it in the past and it is a bit strenuous, but if that love from afar can come close together then their obstacles will be easier to hurtle over. It's a pretty awesome thing.

I'd think it would be fine. With working nights and sleeping days, it was hard having a normal relationship with someone close by so long distance might be better.
