Asians are not pets!!!

This more of a rant than a subject of discussion, but recently I broke up with my girlfriend....at our first convention together....She was cosplaying, which is fine by me, but she made it a point to tell everyone that I was her "asian" boyfriend". It got so annoying that we had a huge fight and it was over. I don't think that anyone wants to be treated like an accessory to be showed off...or a piece of meat......

Wow 0.o Thats kind of crazy. Yeah, some girls date mainly Asian guys because that is what they are attracted to (like me), but its not to show them off... She obviously didn't have a clear understanding as to what a real relationship is.

Unfortunately, it's a sign of immaturity. The fact she was even bringing that up just goes to show you how much it was important to emphasize when a real relationship it wouldn't even be much of a factor. She probably did you a favor in the long run in all honesty.
