OVERRATED ANIMES (Opinions)

@DarthRane lol....Yuyu Hakusho? overrated? really? even when YYH was still airing Yuyu Hakusho is always been underrated due to the fact that it was been overshadowed by DBZ by that time. and i myself admits that in my childhood DBZ is always the best but when i started to learn about character development, story/plot i say YYH beats DBZ

If Dragonball had not had such a large impact on the overall world of anime then I would agree with it being overrated. I mean DBZ was one of the big starts of anime in America. The big 3 (Naruto, Bleach, One Piece) are all overrated, doesn't stop them from being good though. I'm sure I'm going to get lynched by fanboys but, I think one of the most overrated series is The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.I mean I love the light novels but people go crazy over it.

It is hard to call certain anime overrated. akira for example when it came out was a game changer. while now a lot of the elements have been recycled by other animes. So to someone who has watched a bunch of newer anime and then watches Akira would find it over ratted. but to someone who watched Akira first would have a different opinion. For me when the movie origin: spirits of the past came out I found it very over ratted. It felt like i was watching a watered down version of Nausicaa. The same goes for FMA the sacred star of milos came out was way over ratted. It was like watching all of the writers plot rejects jammed into a movie.
