Wallace, i don't think you understand the concept of adding one. It doesn't turn this into facebook, it turns it into a real "Dating/Networking" site that it's intended to be. You said you wanted more activity right Wallace? I guarantee you that if this was ever implemented, this site would have way more activity and people would actually stay on this site. Trust me. I am fairly positive. @Roukuro, that would be a great idea, Sadly i dunno how but my best guess would be to contact them via Facebook by asking in their Facebook group.

^^^ shroom is right. Other dating sites have this as a basic feature. Ok then, Wallace since you're in that facebook group and are active how about you bother the admin until he gets up and does something? Also about the chat rooms. Id be willing to make it and then the subsequent threads spreading awareness of its existence, but it will take some time since ima look into what the best option would be.

You and I have different definitions of activity and to be honest the admin left it like this for a reason because if he wasn't servicing the site would have gone down quite some time ago But anyways I understand the urge or desire to have chatrooms so conversations could be done faster but I think that's what makes this site unique from other ones

The Facebook group is run by kyetgel a user from this site and sephiroth is not related to it We decided to creat it so we could chat faster and make plans for meet ups since activity here is low and AX was just around the corner but you guys could join the group and use the chatroom feature for that purpose

If you wanted a Chatroom, it's as easy as making a Chatango, grabbing the embedded link and just placing it on a whole different " CHAT " page here or essentially, place it on the home page in a smaller box to the left hand side. Wallace, activity is activity. What is your definition of activity? Because I am pretty sure it's no different from mine. The only unique thing about this site is that it's for Otakus and it lacks the ability to let others know that there are more than just forum whores on this site. From what I see though, you want activity but you want it in a limited fashion. I could careless about activity because I honestly don't need to be on this site, i just have nothing better to do lol. I just figured that if people want a better chance at finding their "LOST LOVE", it's better to not limit yourself by being " UNIQUE " and not adding in a basic feature.

Also, facebook group chat automatically invites everyone, that is very annoying and it will bother people by it. The facegroup group is also very inactive.

Alright so in other to do that it's a must to have it That to me is limiting myself from the start since I'm counting on it to go forward I don't really know if I'm making sense right now to you It be great if we had it but I'm good either way

hey shroom i was thinking that and i agree its a good idea (plus lots of anime streaming and otaku culture sites use it so it would be be fitting), but youd need to be a site op/admin wouldn't you? That's why i was thinking of a separate chat room that people could just go to. Because until that admin comes back none of us have the ability to authority for that right? So why not circumvent that?

Trust me Wallace, I know what I'm asking for lol. Just a basic Chat and "Whose Online" feature will create a lot more activity because all the people who don't post on the forums will actually see that people are actually online and are active. For example, I was randomly browsing profiles and seeing people i didn't even know were active because they don't post on forums and were active and actually got online daily. ^See this? Same thing can be applied to them and forum whores like us.

Roukuro, most likely but it becomes too much of a pain when you have to direct a group of people to a different site to use a chatroom or somethin. Until then, only the forum people like us would know that a Chatroom exists. I mean it's still doable and we could still do it but i wouldn't expect anything out of the ordinary until a chatroom gets implemented on the site xD... in terms of chatrooms that is. :)
