Depends on what exactly you're trying to do, especially if you're trying to maintain control. People accidently draw negativity to themselves all the time, that's half of what I do as a witch. Hell, that's most of what a psychologist does, helping people balance or cleanse their negativity. But, I will give an example. At certain times, I consider it morally correct to throw a curse. At its core, a curse is nothing more than an attractant. You utilize various techniques and foci to stain or mark someone, and that mark attracts negativity to their life. You can make it very specific, such as hotfoot powder which can be used to cause rashes, hives, burning sensations, anger, arson, etc. or you can make it general, simply marking a person and letting whatever negativity is in the area converge on them (negative spirits, disease, assaults, burglaries, storms, etc.).
In principle, the idea is so broad that you really need to be more specific to gain a specific answer. Though if you ever find a witch willing to hand out techniques over the internet, distrust the technique. It's like getting medical advice from a fan site.

what about you, Can I trust you?
Sorry I was just wondering if there a special herb like, for example the lavender brought positive influence, so I was thinking the line of an opposite herb.
What about birthmark? are they any thing significant?

FIRST DATE. MCDONALDS. GENTLEMEN LIKE.
I haven't really been on a traditional first date. A con would be a hell of a first date.

At first i was gonna post something of a different nature, but then i realized i already did long ago. Hooray the thread got revived.
Yes a convention for a first date would be awesome. You can go formal or informal dancing at a con, make stuff together at the workshops, play games together, go shopping, or sit down and chill, all of which let talk and learn more about each other. Its also a romantic weekend getaway.
If any of you have the opportunity to try a convention date, seriously do it. If you're on the east coast, Katsucon. Dear gods Katsucon. It takes place at the gaylord national resort in maryland, its an island with a beautiful view of the harbor at night as well as a formal ball, fancy restaurants, an indoor garden, a nightly colored fountain show, lights up in the trees, and to top it all of the con is 24 hours open. So you can do anything you want at any time.

Blazing: There are herbs that attract, sweetgrass being one, though sweetgrass is a universal attractor. That's why people smudge before using it, if you don't you'll pull everything. Usually, though, the herbs that are capable of pulling negativity are physically harmful to you. It's easier, and simpler, to use a non-herbal attractant like a spirit maze or a bait path with something like a poppet at the center. Then there are verbal summoning ceremonies, which use locations, events, or hard-to-find ingredients as foci (Cloaked Man at the Crossroad is a classic, and still used by some witches and hoodooisants).
As for if you can trust me, no. You're not seeing me face to face. I'm not reading your body language, nor do I know your history. I can't tailor my work to your needs, and I don't know you well enough to trust you with my techniques. That's one stereotype of traditional witches that is absolutely true: Our techniques are valuable, they require a lot of foundation work, and they're easy to screw up. We don't give them away. :)

@ Tobitairu: *Does some creeper stalking* So you started when you were 10! *___* That's pretty cool. .__. I have no idea what German hedge witchcraft is, but that's really interesting that it's your family too. c: My family is just into learning about aliens and conspiracies! XD It's good that you have one thing that you're really good at though. c: The one thing where I'm actually really good at is communicating with people and baking, so I can understand that feeling of pride. c:
