Ebay

I've been an Ebayer for some time. I've only been screwed over 2 times. The most recent was by seller: <b>"gameland_outlet"</b> <i>G A E M INC operating as Gameland, 3420 Valejo Ct. Colorado Springs, CO 80918, United States.</i> I won an auction for <b>Xenogears</b> on PSX. He listed it was <i>"Like new condition"</iL with <b>NO</b> marks or scratches on the disc whatsoever. Upon receiving my game, it was completely covered in scratches! It did play fine however I'm also a collector so the physical condition was unexceptable. I contacted the seller and told him that he completely lied about his auction description and that we need to settle this. I told him that I'm sure as hell not paying to ship this game back to him and pay shipping for a new copy to be shipped to me. I told him that this is his phuck-up and that I want him to reimburse me 40% from the $49.99 USD I paid him. He freaked out, got rude, and told me I was nuts. I got <b>PayPal</b> involved and they forcefully reversed the transaction and I got a <I>FULL</I> refund and didn't even had to mail back the game. Coincidentally he became an unregestered member of Ebay. I would recommend <b>NO ONE</b> ever do business with him!

I just wished Yahoo still have their auction site up. <b><i>auctions.yahoo.co.jp</i>,</b> still is up and running though! I guess because there isn't a Japanese version of Ebay so Yahoo kept their Japanese auctions still up and running. The only problem with it is that <B>MOST</b> sellers don't ship outside Japan and I don't want to have to pay a middle-man to get my items to me. Lucky me a friend of mine who's leaving in 5 days to visit his wife's Japanese family is gonna hook me up with some itasha decals off Yahoo Japan's auctions to bring me. woot ^_^

Oh my, well, the people I deal with are usually upset by how the product is shipped. I send cosplay items, wigs mostly and I always use the correct size jiffy mailers. Apparently the PO mishandled on ladies package and she insisted it was all my fault.

It's too bad but on EBAY you get to experience the full range of the human condition. It's kinda like working in a hobby shop. LOL I swear some days they just clean out a asylum up the street and they all visit our shop.

The thing to remember about shipping is for a lot of us, EBAY is not a business. If it wasn't for my daughter being able to drop off packages for me, the only time my work schedule would allow for it would be Saturday.

I got some of my anime robots from Ebay. That, and a soundtrack from Lain. So far I haven't had any problems, but thanks for the warning guys :D

Ebay is amazing <3 I love that site.. If it wasn't for ebay, I wouldn't have had anything irl from anime or asian dramas.. Ebay is the only way to get such stuff over here for me ^^ I'm a proud buyer.. A regular one too at that ^^ Maybe too regular <.<

Ebay is great. I like looking for anime dvd or manga lots for a great price. you can find great things here and there on ebay.
