If you're serious about doing something like this, you're probably going to have to contact a regional convention and ask if you can do it. Hall rentals can be pretty expensive in general, so you should be trying to do this somewhere where space will already be provided. Also check out some local gaming shops in your area. Sometimes they will do tournaments at them as well.

I do not. I'll try using my PC controller, it should have enough buttons to just remap it to it. I got it up and running. I haven't tried to get the online mode working yet, as I have to study for an exam I have in a few hours. So I'll mess around with it later. As for a date, Tuesdays are my best day. Other times work as well, Tuesday is just the cleanest schedule wise for me.
