Yea I was actually Growing up when those came out.. I still remember seeing the first MAINSTREAM anime show to appear on TV Thinking OMG this is amazing. Tells a story and is not just a random episode everyday trying to sell you the latest toy for said Show IE He Man and Gi Joe Style. No get me wrong I loved those shows but when ya got real emotion and story telling in shows like Robotech and StarBlazers I was in awe at the time. I remember tearing up when they Killed of Roy Fokker in Robotech was first time I had ever seen that happen in cartoons. Was like ack anyone of my favorite chars could just get killed at anytime... ack I mean when ya 7-8 ya little less in the know and cartoons were like major part of my world.
