Why Men get turned down?

Interestingly, I usually have much better luck taking things farther and faster. I've always had a strong tendency to take things very slow and that has usually resulted in nothing but pain and misery when she gets with another guy who beat me to her. Either that or she declares that she only sees me as a friend. All because I didn't make any moves on her in time.

Depends on the girl and what she's after really. Anytime I've ever got in a relationship with a guy too quickly they get bored, they leave, I end up hurt. Not worth the hassle imo. Much rather wait it out and get to know them properly and what they are like before I start getting serious. This is my protective bubble maybe? Maybe most girls arn't like I am ^^;

The majority reason I get turned down seems to be "I already have a boyfriend" or "I have no free time" most of the time I get this reason it's just them trying to be nice turning me down, but IMO I find it rude and insulting to not tell me the truth. Honesty is top if my priority list, I will not be mad if someone straight up tells me they arnt interested in me. I also don't much like playing the "game" it's awkward

For me, age does play a bit of a role. Trying to find a gamer girl and/or female otaku over the age of 25 who is single and doesnt live halfway across the country is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack. Most convention going females are still in high scool or college and is unfortunately just to young for a guy in his early 30s to consider. Even if I do run into one, they're usually in a relationship or married already. Most girls around my age dont want to date a gamer guy like me anyways. :p

I have considered dating someone a few years under 25, but then the problem usually runs into girls that young tend not to want to date guys 10 years their senior. :P
