Funny that you mention that. I was actually looking at crab shabu. Weird timing. I have 2 Japanese cook books that I plan on making almost every dish from.

I prefer Jamaican or Thai curries because I usually don't consume a lot of beef, BUT: http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/293905_2365885667747_3797498_n.jpg This is Korean style Tofu with Japanese soba noodles.

This is coming from the girl who melted a poptart I prefer chinese food over japanese food(snacks are a totally different issue though and sushi)

I love cooking Japanese food buts the ingredients are a pain to find sometimes.

Haha shabu shabu is our hot pot. And yeah, I think Thai and Indian curry is better :p Luckily in Houston, there's a bunch of asian towns so we've got a pretty big variety in terms of groceries and whatnot

I cook when I have time. Hana daifuku,chiken raisu, yakisoba, suchi, onigiri, omurice... I didn't care for cooking before, but Japanese food changed that. How can so much deliciousness exist within the realm of mortals? And that curry looks awesome, Godai.
