Fangirling/Jealously

I could hardly expect a girlfriend/wife to not do something that I do myself. It's harmless unless you let yourself get bent out of shape about it or start unfavorably comparing your partner to a fictional character. My last girlfriend and I turned it into fantasy fuel for roleplaying, actually. If you and your partner are willing to cosplay for each other, it can be something to bring you together rather than drive you apart. XD

ooooh! good point *thumbs up* have fun with it. main point is, its a fictional character. id rather have a bf crushing on a fictional character then a live one. its harmless unless they go off the deep end... then i think its just better for you to get out when u can.

Well i'd immediately dump her if she claimed i was cheating on her with an anime character. there's no argument to this lol

I suppose it really comes down to the amount of "fangirling" we're talking about here. I mean, if it's just a healthy fandom where they own a lot of things related to the character, that's one thing. If it pours over into real life, where say they're comparing everything you and they do to that character's fictional life and personality, then it might be time to reel back things in a bit.
