Anyone Going to A-kon or A-fest this year?

Yeah. I'd recommend going with friends. '~' going to conventions alone sucks! (every convention i went to, i went alone)

I'm probably gonna go again this year. I still haven't looked-up the new hotel information. If it's reasonable I might stay at the host hotel like last year. It's much more convenient than runnin' around places you're not familiar with. I hope some cool band will be there, V.A., and fun panels. I still remember my fist A-kon in 2000. It was a blast.

Cool ! I wish I could book a room, but I'm not that loaded. ( I just take the train or my mom takes me)

My usual group and I have already booked our two rooms (one for fun, one for sleep) already, and might actually upgrade one to a suite. As usual, we try to fill the rooms with as many people as we can comfortably fit. This way, everyone gets a room, everyone pays a lot less for the weekend. Not to mention we broaden out web of Otaku friends with each con. I can't wait for A-kon and a-fest.
