variety of things

Who here likes a verity of things, so different that are sometimes complete polar opposites. As an example i love my little pony(yes i am a brony) as well as berserk(despite when it can be well... if you read the manga you know) another example is that i'm an otaku, but also a county boy. This is not just about the different things you enjoy, but also getting ideas from multiple places, even if they are different. As well as, do you feel getting idea and enjoying many things makes you a more well rounded person? Do you feel the more places we learn from the better?

I don't think there's anything wrong with that. The idea of polar opposites in the context of every interests/hobbies are just stereotypes and we all know that the individual doesn't fit any stereotype to a T. It's good to expose yourself to the world, it helps your grow as a person

That is true i feel that you should put yourself out there with your interest not hold them back let your personality flow and go around you regardless what anybody else thinks if you try to hold in your interest in life that will slowly hurt as for having multiple ideas or interest there is nothing wrong with that the more the merrier no matter how different they are from one another

In a way it makes u more well rounded but only in some areas but I suppose u become more and more well rounded as u discover more things that u take interest too :3 wow i sounded so smart

I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with liking things. I'm much more a gamer than I am an otaku, but I also enjoy reading fantasy novels too. To me, they're all similar interests in a broader geeky culture. It's why you see a lot of MLP cosplay at anime cons and what not. Lots of cross over.

I tend to read manga one minute, Three Books of Occult Philosophy by Agrippa the next, go downstairs and watch some anime, head outside for a hike, then come home for more anime before finishing off with my sketchbook and some Earl Grey tea. How's that for variety? lol

Geez, it seems the verity of what i enjoy is never ending haha the variety of music i like is so wide :P now even bands such as Flyleaf, Black Sabbath, Metallic, Evanescence, and Disturbed, among others are added to my ever growing list of artist i enjoy. Good music is good music!
