Being forward is fine and all, but you need to know how to read the situation. Being blunt is fine for some, but others prefer a little more subtlety, a bit of finesse. Don't go horn-dogging or being pervy to gals, unless they've like, indicated they want that sort of thing. Some ladies do like men with a little class. Chivalry isn't necessarily dead. For me at least, I'll save my freak side or what have you for when the time is right for both parties. Being labelled as the creep is the last thing a guy wants, trust me.

All in all just don't be a jerk. And take notes from this man right here. xP

@Master OF Pears, if she is being too forward just kindly tell her how you feel and hopefully she should respect that. Honesty is key here, but don't be vulgar about it. Of course if she is into that. Some girls are probably into that. But ask first because it's best to be courteous to others.

Being creepy can be an inherent quality of this site. You stick a bunch of thirsty otaku on a site dominated by men it's just gonna happen. Not saying there isn't something to do about it, just be sure to report when it happens or when you see it happening.
