I know that feeling about the global/local community thing....lol That still sounds pretty cool though. Finding those stories after so long and being able to read them with a different mind, no matter the content! :) I have a fantasy story in me, a ninja based story in me (sort of naruto like but obviously without anything copyright breaking...) and a much more mature, adult story (nothing pervy or anything...) but Im too lazy to work on them properly....

@NotExactlyRight: I'm so jealous.. ;__; I took French for five years at school and I barely got any of it. -__-

Haruu, I've been learning and speaking Hebrew since I was three years old due to my ethnicity, and I grew up in a very Hispanic town. I refused to learn Spanish though (Hooray for non-conformity! >,>) so I learned Japanese instead. Hmm, you should try writing that, Simon! Or make an outline or write a few short stories set in that world, just to get the creative juices flowing. My dad found one of my old flash drives recently and I plugged it into my netbook to find a list of "universal constants" I had been working on when I was a teenager. It still makes me laugh. XD But the weirdest was reading a ghost story I had been working on, and the voluntary analyses of "Crime and Punishment" and Edgar Allen Poe. O.O It was like travelling back to the past and having a conversation with myself at 15.

Oh wow, Hebrew? @___@ I tried to take French instead of Spanish because I already knew it fluently, but in the end it was really hard. e__e Although maybe if our teacher wasn't the teacher we had then maybe we wouldn't be struggling either? Mrreehh.. >__>;;

I couldn't learn Spanish. My brain just rebelled every time I opened the textbook... But working at a gas station, I got practice whether I liked it or not, and now I can understand it halfway, but I can't speak it worth a damn. Then I tried learning Czech, my grandmother's language, and I just couldn't get my hands on any decent curriculum. So I went with Japanese. The teacher plays a big part in the success of the student, I've found, so you could be right about the struggling thing.

I see. .__. It helps definitely when you're working. Damn, Czech? That would be cool to say you know how to speak Czech. XD Her name is Ms. Bonnefil.. It's not even grammatically right! >____<
