I think another key issue is distance, yeh long distance relationships are doable but hard to maintain. Nothing beats able to hangout and go on a date with someone than something over the phone or online.

In part you could say its the distance but its actually the activity of its users i remember right after anime ecpo we would login everyday and now some of that people shift over to the maiotaku group on facebook and checks the group once in a while thats why it should be cool to have a meet up once a month

^ Like me you were born 10 years too early.... Though most girls (if not all) on here are madly in love with me, they are just way too afraid to admit it! Thats what I like to think anyway....

All of you just quit your winning. Our admin does all of this because he wants to. Is not a company or a bunch of scamers like nearly all the dating sites out there. I actually went investigating the net and all those sites. There are people who's job is to message you and try to trick you into joining sites promising favors meet ups and things I dare not say. The site is kept simple to ease maintenance and functionality. They are adding features I am sure you guys noticed. What I like about this site is that there are actual real people on here and the scamers don't attack it as hard. If you want to improve success tell your friends get out of your shells and increase the amount of members. Is the only way it will spread and your chances of success will improve. Another thing you have to accept that some people on here are not mature enough and they don't know themselves. Because of that they are not strong enough to make a long distance relationship work. To be honest someone that doesn't have their selves in order can only fail in relationships. Even if some how they do start.

Welcome to the internet. Where people are allowed to whine if they want to.... Calm down with your attack please!

What I really like to see is that instead of focusing on dating. If you guys notice near by members try to start otaku clubs. Hanging out together and making groups to go to cons is a better way of finding someone that could catch your interest. Because spending time with people is how you become attracted or emotionally involved. I had my share of long distance relationships on here most ended in friendships despite some of the things done and said. (secrets) ;-) Believe me dudes when I say some young girls like the older man but don't encourage it because they are usually not ready for it. When you make this clubs make them diverse even if it starts only with guys. Talk to each other and make bonds within our otaku community.

Oh Simon san I say that with the lightest heart. Is best to be positive and constructive than negative is the way I see it. You know I made a friend on here in the UK we still talk from time to time. I just want to show everyone that people are the ones that make things happen.

It just sounded aggressive to me... I have a tendency to be very self-deprecating though, so most of the time I look like Im complaining but Im mostly just poking fun at myself.
