@ronined, indeed, Lime is the supreme overlord of playful hugs. As for everyone else, I simply don't like constantly gloomy, unrealistically violent anime so I think cat brained robots (Nuku Nuku) and sorceresses with silly magical kabooms (Lina from Slayers) are more my thing.

I like an anime with a great story that will make me cry. Only ones that did that were Clannad, Ano Hana, Ef: A tale of Melodies, Angel Beats, and a movie called Grave of the Fireflies.

I saw bits of Clannad, ah.... cute and a story. Only on episode 7 though.
