@bruschettebites One of my coworkers is from Bulgaria. Right before C19 she applied for citizenship and we were helping her study for the exam. She tells us stories about growing up while that shift happened. She said it was livable but nothing exceptional. Poor mostly, a bleak existence.

I haven't been watching them live the last couple weeks. I usually put them on while I work the day after. I need to do a superchat to ask them to get Gothix on.

It really depended on where you were living, it was okay in the countryside, where people were more self sufficient, people who had a garden or animals they could sustain themselves on, but in the inner city it was bad, it's not as bad as it was in mao's china but it was the concequences of socialism.

And it's not the only concentration camp here, there was many others but this one was by far the most vile and evil one, we're a far smaller country, in the first year of socialism here they murdered an estimated 40 thousand people. Total estimated number of people who've been to those camps is 280 thousand and there's around 86 of said camps, yet it's still denied by brainwashed old people.
