here to debate for the ethics of veganism >w>/ name the trait lacking in animals that if lacking in humans would also take away their moral consideration~

I tried being vegetarian once, it did not work out. Quite hard when all of your family can't stand meatless meat nor veggies everyday.

thats why im not vegan at the moment anymore @mugi i understand how hard it is to have a certain diet when your entire family eats the opposite xD but it is possible, just takes the right motivation i use to meme on vegans and vegetarians like everyone else til i started watching vegan gainz to 'lul' at the angry vegan, and found his arguments were actually extremely sound and the tipping point was watching the animals be tortured and slaughtered they say if slaughterhouses had glass walls everyone would be vegan and i have to agree there really is a cognitive dissidence that people look at "beef" and dont think "cow", or how said cow had to die a horrible death for your taste pleasure but anyways, /rant, this isnt a vegan thread its a debate thread xD

Ive seen chick culling vids and all that. Hell, i've even had to put things out of their misery. Feels like shit, and you dont forget it. I just wish people were more humane about it.

wanna debate, rei? how can you humanely end somethings life when they desperately want to live? how nicely do you need to treat something until you have the moral authority to kill it and why wouldnt this extend to humans as well? @archer you looking to learn more about veganism :3? i recommend all of vegan gainz videos (especially when it comes to the nutrients side, he gets into micro and macro nutrients youll need) heres a video on the health benefits of veganism (hes a bit cartoony sometimes but the facts are solid facts) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hN_Z2d89M5A as far as documentaries go the one that turned me was Earthlings, but i also recommend Forks Over Knives as well as Live and Let Live i went from eating meat to going vegan the very day i watched that and it wasnt difficult at all (plus i had a supportive bf who was vegetarian at the time) im vegetarian right now because i live with carnists now, but i plan to go vegan again when i move back in with bf-kun

Theres no real counter argument to "is it ok to play god" in this context. lol. Especially if science could grow steaks in a lab. I dont think if everyone went vegan, we'd solve everything. You'd end up with depleted soil.
