"Make us in his image" i still feel like it is percieved all wrong. What if he made us in the image he wanted but not the image of himself. Remember how it was said people could not look at gods form or they would die? Unless ur some 90 year old looking at a nude girl in her 20's up close i doubt ur dying just at the sight of another human.

We be 3D beings talking about something that might be 12D, of course we would die if we caught a glimpse of something like that's true form. The problem with the bible is that not only is it written in so many different languages by so many different people, but its also stretched over so many different years. So yeah, nothing you read from that book likely retains the same meaning that the original author meant it to. Likewise, you also run into the problem that a being as unfathomable as god may impart the same words onto three different individuals, yet each walks away like "He told us to kill the nonbelievers." "No he didn't, he said build a temple to the golden ratio." "What planet are you guys on, he told us that our neighbors are going to be needing some help this next crop cycle!" Language is clumsy enough in the spiritual plane, let alone whatever layer of reality a being like god would reside in.

Hmmm i thought the punk movement arose in opposition to the hippie movement. Hippies 60s into 70s, punk 70s into 80s. I never thought of punk being birthed by hippies. Their ideologies conflict. Hippies is peace, love, and tranquility. Punk is chaos, violence, and energy.
