only visual novels iv ever read konosuba and tokyo ghoul never seen the manga for konosuba but tokyo ghouls manga was vastly better, though the novel was great too

For tokyo ghoul it is a given that the manga is vastly superior. I am mainly referencing certain works that started off as visual novels and then got adapted into manga and/or anime.
