Religious rants

Discriminate how exactly? Did they bar them from partaking anything that fundamentally should be allowed to them? Or did they just not like Catholics? I also dont like Catholicism as a religion but thats the religion i dislike i dont attack them the people for believing differently.

Attack the belief and you best believe the believer will take offense. "Hey! What you believe is wrong!"... I wonder how that comes across? It's a fine, fine line, there.

I mean we were told things like not to trust the Catholics, and there was sometimes arguments and fighting between my church and the nearby Catholic Church, but i was a kid during that time and didn't get involved with all that especially since I moved to a different church when I was around 9 and there were no Catholics near that one still Catholic slander tho since I remember there was this one catholic kid around my age at the time who came to visit and the teacher bullied him so hard about it that he left the classroom crying and never returned wouldn't be surprised if he's no longer religious in general nowadays

The same way you dislike christianity so much you feel the need to speak out against it here in the thread is the same way i am able yo dislike something as well. Oh my gosh is someone trying to call double standard?

I don't feel the need to speak out against Christianity i feel the need to speak out against the "one true religion" mentality since if you were just talking about Christianity i wouldn't say anything and i didn't say anything about it at first then you started talking about the "one true religion" which if you haven't noticed is the type of mentality i grew up with

It's also a dangerous mentality to have since it leads to conspiracy theories and in extreme scenarios terrorism like those Islam terrorists who killed the christians in Egypt

Also that is very unfortunate for that child. I dont think he should have been bullied because fundamentally we are supposed to believe in the same God just different view points. Same picture different perspectives. Dagger im assuming here, is catholic. Im not attacking him i agree to disagree i dont feel his faith is any less important than mine i just dont believe Catholicism practices the right things. Thats how people should approach it not bullying.

I feel like when people turn to violence and defamitory speech it truly detracts from their cause. We have extremist in the religion and those people i feel to be the furthest from God. Because you dont alienate people yoi try to get hem to join you not cram it down their throats. Some parents do thay with their children and then they go the opposite way to spite them
