Could've sworn one of the main reasons there was a great flood was to wipe out those born of the union of the son's of God and the daughters of men?

@daggerfella I'm aware. They go by many names,but yes... I was always under the impression they were fallen angels. Anyways... I thought the great flood was partially meant to wipe their offspring out? Just trying to understand why you think their DNA is still with us on some level. Because, I've never heard that and that's a new one for me.

Didn't it happen twice tho the first time with Utnaphishtim and the second with Gilgamesh which is why Gilgamesh went to seek Utnaphishtim's aid cause it was some sort of journey for immortality that Utnaphishtim already underwent or did i just misunderstand? Either way it happened in the Epic of Gilgamesh which I'm pretty sure is the oldest known text i searched the dates just now so idk if it's accurate but the epic of Atrahasis is from 1800 Bc while that of Gilgamesh is from around 2100 Bc
