The Catholic church was THE church for CENTURIES. Doesn't matter if you were raised protestant... Y'all still came from them. Which one is the right one? Idk i just know the catholic church isnt it because they do things that no where in the bible it says to do.

I didnt say it started with catholicism. As paganistic values existed long before Jesus Christ they simply now use actual religion to mask it. What better way to lead people away from the word of God than to PRETEND you are doing exactly what God wants, and it benefits you too so thats a bonus. Ofc God wants you to go around telling people its ok to do this and that even though he said not to in the bible. He obviously didnt mean that right? Yes i was raised in a Baptist church but i didnt really claim any religion and at one point i even abandoned Christianity. I found myself back in Christianity and now im trying to weed out the false sects for myself. I have gone through my trials already. I have had people try to get me to convert to other religions already. i have sat with the muslims and hindus. Its not as though i say this without actually looking into those religions somewhat. Even now i explore catholicism and such but i still believe they are false. I feel like the person most closed minded here is you. I have been on both sides to see for myself i would even show you my dog tags says catholic on it but it has my social so nah.

Inb4 you say you have studied the bible and such. Did you at one point ever consider yourself a devout follower? Or was it more of a forced to go to catholic school type vibe, or did it out of curiosity type vibe.

Yes, yes and yes. Yes? Yes. I sure did believe. However, I've heard the Same tripe of "If they don't believe now, they never did.". Yeah... Not how belief vs non belief works. I dont really tend to gravitate toward baptist. I was simply raised that way but again like i said i turned away from religion as a whole in 2017 didnt come back until honestly this year. I wouldnt say im baptist now. I am still on that journey i do my research and once i find the right church i will side with that. Now based on belief because i dont necessarily have such a strong opinion for small details just mainly RIGHT details. In the end your soul is judged based on you, not what others did and not because they made you follow them down the wrong path. I simply mocked the idea that reality doesnt exist and nothing matters. Religion aside it does not make sense. You cannot manifest anything into life. Sure with hard work maybe you can be a millionaire. But are you? You would probably want to be one. Alot of times luck has to be on your side and alot of times you gotta do some really grimey shit and step on alot of people to get there. But yeah if we are talking manifesting no i dont believe thats possible. You cant manifest someone back to life by trying really hard. I mocked it in that sense that reality is very much still reality.

I then brought up the topic of religion because ofc this is a religion thread. I was saying there is a higher purpose and a deeper understanding to everything. Nothing simply exists because it does. It was made that way. Again not to beat a dead horse but that video i posted REALLY explained everything we are talking now. In just 40 mins it hit like 80% of what we said.

Let's say that there is a higher power. The Bible is a holy text that states that God Almighty is real. But wait a minute! The Koran is another holy text that states that God is real. Then you have the Torah for the Jews. Then you have the Egyptian Gods, then you have the Roman Gods, then you a million other Gods. Tell me this Pandus. Let's assume for the sake of argument that you're correct. That God is real. How do you know that your God from the bible is the actual real God? Well muh scripture says that my God is the real God. Right, so does every other religion state that their holier than interpretation of God is the actual real interpretation of God. Apart from the holier than thou text. How do you know that your God is the real God? Well, because Jesus Christ touched muh heart and I believe it with all my soul! Right, a Muslim, a Jew, and every other religion on earth will believe on their hear of hearts that they believe because God touched their heart. In other peoples interpretation of God. You are the actual devil Pandus. Because you don't believe in the actual true God. Riddle me this Pandus. Which God is the actual true God? Go ahead, enlighten me.
