Religious rants

Ask a Jew,they'll gladly tell you. Also, it doesn't say you're ok to wear clothing with mixed fibers or plant more than two crops per field, either. Sooo ... Do with that as you will.

I have seen that among the list of abominations in leviticus. God is extremely strict on these. Basically anything would cause you to be cut off from your people or potentially sentenced to death. Also i cannot simply ask a jew as alot of people dont even know why they are doing it. I need to look for multiple sources and people who actually study it. I believe when it comes to religion research is tantamount. Also someone said something about moses and pagan worship. Its funny cuz i saw the same thing said within my macarthur study bible in the footnotes, how it was compared to the rituals done by pagan worshippers. The history and stuff pre-christ is soooo deep and hidden, ancient history is extremely hard to pinpoint.

You can ask a Jew. Many know EXACTLY why they're doing it. They believed the Messiah was to come and unify Israel. He was supposed to essentially be a warrior king. Think about how the second coming is supposed to be, that's kinda what they were looking for in the Messiah. Correct me if I'm wrong. They don't deny there was a Jesus, just that he wasn't the Messiah.Think of it like this, Muslims even hold Jesus as being an important person (One of their mightiest Prophets.),just not the Messiah. Really, just search online, there are TONS of good sources.

Yeah they see him as a prophet, but im talking most people, christian, jewish, muslim, have just armchair practicers. If you go up to any Christian and say something they probably cant belt out the correct answer me included. Thats what i meant, not everyone truly understands why they are doing it. They parrot talking points from other Jewish people. I wanna go to the people who study the torah and the bible and historical articles and travel to places onsite and everything else.

Go to a synagogue, then. Again, they'll gladly share with you.

Ok cool

Like how buddy just said the same thing 3 times. I state i dont wish to hear why a group of people do something they were taught to do, but rather the reason why they were taught to do so. This man says "go to a synagogue" as if some random person within the synagogue just happens to know why. While yes there is a possibility there is, no it is not a guarantee. The same reason why not every church has a person who can accurately state why the bible says to do this and that, which i clearly just told him, he tells me to do the same thing i just responded to. Cant make this stuff up.

Im among the crowd who wishes to immerse myself in doctrine and understand the why. I believe it is the way God has intended us to worship. The bible is simply a starting point imho. Many people fail to see that. You can read the Bible, Torah, Quran all day but if you dont understand what it is ur reading then its useless to you. So that is the meaning behind what i said. Im not just talking out of my butt i am genuinely trying to learn from someone who has done the research. If i cant do that then i research it myself. I have started pondering buying a copy of the Torah. I also wosh to go to Israel and see if i can find people who still practice the ways of the old testament. And see what connects the two.

The search for God is never ending. I was not fortunate enough to be born in a time where he was active among his people. So i basically gotta catch up thousands of years of info in my short life span.

You do you. In the end, it sounds like you won't be happy until you hear EXACTLY what YOU want to hear. Good luck with that. You're non-denominational with an "I know best." twist, buddy. Meh ... You know what? You're right. Why would anyone listen to you? You're just some random Christian anyway.
