What keeps you here?

I wasn't even done yet...anyways (Edit: This kinda turned into a rant of some sort..sorry) Like the title states, "What keeps you here?" I've been personally finding it hard to keep my attention on this website due to many many failed attempts at conversations. It's mostly due to me being the, "I want to be around people but I'm to comfortable being alone" type of guy. My life has been sort of a "Used that guy" type of guy, I've been told by my true friends that I'm to trusting of people. I'm the type of guy who doesn't mind spending thousands of dollars just to see my friends have fun and not worry about anything. Anyways back to the question (sorry for the rambling) I want to find a good reason to stay in this site because this website is fun but nothing is keeping me here.

iv met some fun friends and hope to meet more :D but most my friends r on my oovoo so i cood leave but this is kinda the only human interection i get XD

^ Like her this is my only human interaction of my same species and have no belittlement to worry about. @ OP Like I was having a hard time finding some ppl here and I used to start up alot of pity topics. But somehow after I've learn to except reality as it is and to not worry so much about making friends and having ppl talk to me, a bunch of ppl just starting dropping me comments and friend requests, so now I've got a reason to stay here, since alot of my friends are here. Be nice if we weren't so spread out though /: but that's just how the cookie crumbles, take what is given to you I always say. I sure hope you can find your place here on this site like her and I have.

Just meeting new people even if they live a ways away. Most people here (including myself) who join hope to find a relationship, but it's hard with most of the active users being so spread out. I'm sure a few people have had luck on here though.

People into anime are exposed to all sorts of weirdness so I feel I would have a better chance at finding someone either as weird as I am or attracted to the weirdness that is a part of me. Think about it, Really, How well would a polyamorous zooish intellectual who is neither totally female nor totally male go over at a Texas bible belt red neck church social ?
