I see a lot of prom-related videos. And I feel a littol bit jelly cause hahaha I never experienced one. But yea would prolly be nice to get asked or go on a date w someone or just u know party w friends. Lol. Hayss. Teenage love. Lol.

@verucassault we didnt have em way back 2015 because our school admin was like: prom is expensive…like…not all students can afford it —buyin clothes / hair and makeup / food / etc etc. The school was like yea better not have it since not everyone can join and so the school can save money lol tho students from higher curriculums protested, but meh school admin was followed haha

There's that issue here as well so there are sometimes drives to donate prom dresses and ball gowns. Some small clothing boutiques buy and resale them. Still though, I know some kids just can't afford to go. I wore the same dress to my junior and senior prom, just swapped out some accessories and colors and wore my hair differently.

@verucassault ooh nice. we didnt have any of those. tho students from higher curriculums were more than willing to shoulder most expenses…Cant remember much but I think instead of prom we had seniors night. But most students said it was boring because everything was controlled by school admin — music volume / time / etc. My friends and I just actually went out to a resto and had dinner. Lol. But I remember wearing this (see pic) hahahahahaha black and pink combi was so lit before hahahahhaa

That's a cute dress. In hindsight I wish I had done a black, mine was silver. My friends and I went out to dinner before our junior prom and then we bailed on the after party because it too was put on by our school. It was supposed to deter people from actually partying. Which we weren't going to do anyway, but I didn't like the idea of being locked down and forbidden to leave. I should have stayed though because they brought in a hypnotist and one of my friends was made to believe she was a husband and her wife (who was this boy we had classes with) was in labor. Other kids were the doctor and nurses on the delivery team. Lol
