You would have to ask the people threatening to riot. I think this is just how things are going to be from now on. Threats of domestic terrorism to sway verdicts. Threats to the jury, the judge, anyone involved in the trials. I think at this point it should be a mistrial with prejudice. I think if they went the route just a mistrial, they're not going to find a fresh jury who hasn't heard of this case to participate. Too far along, too much news coverage on it.
