Now, what you do is none of our business, but when you put out a forum like this it does two things. It A, shouts “I’m a pedophile!” Or B, shouts “I’m a minor and I’m on here when I shouldn’t be.” You’re gonna attract unwanted attention either way, if it was me, I’d wait till I was 18 to find someone on here. 17 is a tough time to find someone on the internet like that anyways, you date someone who’s 16 then in a year you’re 18 and they’re 17 and it gets to be… bad lol.

This is kind of stupid. A guy who is 17 years old looking for someone 18 or under (I'm pretty sure he did not mean significantly younger) I'm guarranteed isn't going to get into any legal trouble. It would be too messed up if he did.. You can't assume he's a pedophile without any proof or suspicion. I joined when I was 17, Amir joined when he was 16, Tal joined when she was even younger.

If his age is true then he is not pedo. However, he is treading in dangerous waters. He just needs to make his moves carefully, don't want something happening to the guy. Legal or otherwise.

Things being too messed up to happen does not stop incredibly messed up things from happening in the American legal system, unfortunately. As I said it's uncommon for something like this to usually get taken anywhere because normally teens keep this to themselves but since he's being straight up open and advertising it, yeah that could cause some huge trouble. To just jump into worst possible scenario thing to showcase how dumb the law is in regards to how it treats kids, there have been some extreme examples of children getting slapped with sex offender charges for jokingly taking pictures of their own naked selves or whatever and even they didn't send it to anyone, they still have been slapped with both the charges of production of and possession of child pornography. Is it incredibly messed up that basically children have been slapped with one of the harshest charges you can face in America's criminal justice system AND might I also add, have to register as a sex offender for life before they're even 18 and didn't actually do anything wrong and also spend their childhood in prison? Hell yeah that's messed up but that's just how the law 'round these parts of the world works

Well I was thinking more of him getting catfished by an actual pedo which falls under the "otherwise". That is my concern with people underage on this site. Less for them causing trouble and more them getting into trouble.

Oh that's a huge concern too, I just like bringing up the actual legal stuff to kids because that one they have a harder time arguing with as every kid wants to think they won't fall for a catfish ya know? ...myself unfortunately included when I was like 13
