@hell_hound7 Remember that I'm a conspiracy theorist too, it's not a right or left thing. (Though the left does have a better track record.) It's a bottom thing. Pay attention to what anarchists do to prep for that stuff, nobody is better than them, or the amish when it comes to off the grid living. Spoiler alert: Make connections now rather than later.

Hmmm... I once had a schizophrenic(Diagnosed) friend who became all religious and "conspiracy" theorist-y out of the blue... He was an interesting fella, very talented DJ(Was my best man at my first wedding.), too. Y'all just got me thinking that I should try to get in contact with him at some point, it's been a minute.

Yeah, when it comes to weaponizing conspiracy theories to scare people and control people into a stupor where the logical part of their brain completely stops working, no one is better at it than the christians (More specifically, West Borough). They were always around, but in the early 2000s, there was this wierd shift where it wasn't just a few local churches, but a papal sponsored astroturfed movement where a lot of vids on youtube started to get in all our streams. They were easy to pick apart from the neo nazis, russian/cia, and environmentalists stuff, but they would just grab your attention way more effectively than click bait. It'd be like THE TRUTH ABOUT NWO-666 SATAN_IS_REAL 666. And it was just like "Wow, we went from chem trails, GMOs, and pre-Iraq war government surveillance to this?" We started calling it fear porn. The neurons of fear and terror are said to be addictive, and that was exactly what those were designed to do. And then Obama happened, and the alt right flooded in, and we got into the FEMA death camps when they realized how effective fear mongering was. It was an interesting thing to witness from my side of the river. Truly an interesting time to be alive.

@yaasshat maybe im schizophrenic i wont deny that. But be honest here if you dont wanna agree on the religion stuff. You HAVE to at least see something going on with the government. I mean we have been pumping out millions and millions to ukraine, destroying pipelines only to then approve oil production in Alaska and until 2030 way past the ban on gas powered cars in California. On top of that food has been affected, jobs are at risk of being cut to help combat inflation, banks collapsing, bans on gas stoves. You cant be serious rn you gotta tell me ur at least keeping up with the news.

Oh, I do and I'm just being an ass. You'd have to be willfully ignorant to not see how the world, let alone our country is going.

I have always been the kind of person to like prepare for unexpected events. I hate not knowing what to do when shit hits the fan. Ever since 2020 i have kept at least 4 cases of water or more. Just seeing what happened to the toilet paper crisis i dont wanna be caught up in that. I have kinda increased the amount i hold on hand. Worst case scenario i dont have to worry about water or food and can just eat it. Im not necessarily schizophrenic or anything for being religious and a conspiracy nut. I dont really feel like anyone is following me per say. But like i said when shit hits the fan im trying to live comfy. I dont have the luxury of a an easy way out.

I do feel like having a particular religious belief does tend to make one lean towards "dooms day" thinking. But, yes, it's always a good idea to be prepared to survive. At the very least, have some basic knowledge/survival skills. The world is kinda a shit show but I think thanks to media, you get to see only the bad because that's what sells. Ain't hearing about puppies and rainbows are you? While it's good to be informed and actively striving to do what's best, I think it's also good to never panic. Panicky people do stupid, stupid things.

Right, thanks for reminding me. I should clarify that by Christians, I meant West Borough.

Well even if you dont think dooms day isnt a thing due to religious. In actuality yeah it is a thing, while ik climate change is a controversial topic there is that, plus alot of things have been going on world wide not just America. Like these economic changes dont just affect us. Growing tensions in europe, china and taiwan bumping heads north korea showing off, iran practically going nuclear. There is alot going on if the world doesnt end i at least see WW3 happening. And unlike ww2 you cant just drop 2 nukes and that be the end of it. This time everyone has nukes. I can 100% promise you ww3 is coming. The economic strain ontop of the growing food crisis not just in America but other countries. Franc and italy arguing about the massive migration of libyians. Population crisis. These things will lead to war eventually. It could just be crazy talk and conspiracy blah blah blah. But alot of conspiracies are starting to become true. People said ufo didnt exist now the government says it was true the whole time.
