The "crack pipe kids" has already been debunked. Only right-wing outlets use that to frame the Biden administration. Part of the stuff you listed is put out of context in some regards to only list negative effects. There is a lot of stuff to correct there but that would take too long and I have not the time for that. Everything is tax-payer funded, in every country. Though I feel like if the Biden administration would send out free school meals, people would still complain: "Tax payer needs to pay for meals because parents are too lazy" - Fox News probably.

@justthisguy Actually, you are correct partially. The crack pipe thing got so much back lash that it disappeared from the conversation and it fell to the cities to supply them as well as things called "booty bumps". But what the grant is assisting with is syringes which is pretty much the same as a pipe, a delivery system for illicit drugs. No need to throw Fox at me though. I have the source as the White House. "Harm Reduction The American Rescue Plan included $30 million in grants for harm reduction services—a historic amount that will enhance interventions like syringe services programs (SSPs) through a grant operated by SAMHSA at HHS." https://www.whitehouse.gov/ondcp/briefing-room/2022/08/31/actions-taken-by-the-biden-harris-administration-to-address-addiction-and-the-overdose-epidemic/ ___ You said "Part of the stuff you listed is put out of context in some regards to only list negative effects." Feel free to elaborate. Not only do I live in the US and have first hand experience with the Healthcare and Insurance industry here, but I also used to be a social worker and am knowledgeable about social programs.

^ but people arent ready to talk about that :^ )

The sheet actually says "in developed countries". It is correct. There is a huge wave of police killing in that country and that needs to be solved. Going whataboutism is not going to solve anything.

Killings by country, try again :^ ) also developed country you are picking at sticks. America is probably one of the only countries where its citizens can own guns. Police also have to protect themselves as ANY one can be armed at any moment. There are no security checks, no check points, no metal detectors between states that guns are legal and states that arent legal. https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/police-killings-by-country

@verucassault There is a lot to touch there. If anyone wants to bring a statement come with sources, it is not the effort of others that should demantle statements. If you provide a point to an argument you need to provide credible sources. I do not refer to you by that but just browsing this thread and there are a lot of statements without any credible source. If anyone needs to make a statment it is your task to provide an option. Again not meant for your comment. It does not mean where anybody lives. If the US is mentioned it is usually a place of politics that concern anyone. I am glad and happy to have been in conversation with people from the US. But what I mainly believe is that humans are humans and decisions that strike a country should be viewed by not only intern sources but also by independant media. -I feel like my message is a bit blurry here. If it concerns news, there is no independant news outlet (public media to clarify) in the USA - There is a lot of reflection to be done. I do believe that as much as other countries can learn from the US, the US should really look at other developed countries to improve its policy, healthcare etc as well.
