@hell_hound7 I wasn't expecting it either. Basically he read the political landscape and what the American people actually wanted and finally decided to do something about it. Most likely because midterms were coming up. There were a lot of good progressive points as well. An economy from the middle outward is what we used to have in the country around the fifties, and that's the economy we have been trying to restore. It's not communism, it's barely socialism, and it's basically the same model a lot of economists and social democrats have been trying to suggest we go back to, but we always get bogged down and baited into having to talk about socialism as a whole. As for mask mandates, I was never sold on the conspiracy theories, I knew the mandate wasn't going to last much longer. Honestly, those new jobs are really going to help out Ohio. Maybe it's a middle finger to china, or maybe it's a way to mitigate the effects of any sanctions they may throw at us if we do jump to Taiwan's aid and it doesn't work out. I still need to see more before I know what's going through the administration's head right now. @daggerfella It becomes easier to discern when you think about it like this. 1: What is the information actually doing, rather than what it is saying. 2: Who benefits from it? 3: Who else is talking about it? If you see it appear on RT or Sputnic, odds are, the Russians want you to come across it, even if the info itself originated from elsewhere. Because remember, Putin is former KGB. In old Soviet Russia, during misinfo campaigns designed to stir up a disenfranchised minority, They rely on plausible deniability when they spread misinfo, so they will always try to make it appear like it didn't come from them.

@kuharido Well we already have the issue of false information coming from the fronts via Western media. The final stand of the soldiers wiped out on Snake Island? Never happened, they were captured and are still alive. Ghost of Kiev? A Ukrainian superpilot that took out a bunch of Russian planes? Footage from the ARMA 3 video game. The woman from "Her Blood Is On Your Hands" headline? That was a photo from 2018 from a gas line explosion. So to assume all the information coming out of Ukraine and what we see in headlines and footage is generally foolish since we have both sides dumping out propaganda and false information. This is why I have been staying out of it right now, hard to discern crap from truth. We have footage and pictures from years ago, footage from video games, stories that are just plain made up and not too many people know the truth of the matter.

@dyadka_yar I've never actually seen any mention of the Ghost of Kiev or that stuff on the outlets I follow, so I figured it was just a meme. I don't follow American news stations when it comes to foreign affairs. Hell, even BBC gets kinda into the sensationalized unsubstantiated rumors.

@dyadka_yar you already proved my point. You were able to find falsehoods in the info. Track down their sources and realize they are most likely untrue.

@kuharido Actually it proves that nobody knows anything. People claiming otherwise I call into question. The only thing we know is the truth is Russia is in Ukraine, nothing else.
