I hope the East conflict will be over soon. Really don't want to have to fly over there...

Seeing the Ukrainians hold their own against the russian forces its really looking like russia might lose this war. Their own guys dont know whats going on, according to the news they havent been able to take a single city, their tanks ran out of gas, soldiers ran out if supplies, people taken hostage, they have nearly 100 countries backing the Ukrainians. My worst fear is that Biden's approval rating will rise after this. The media is already painting him as a hero ssying he has been unifying the different countries against russia.

War is a relic of the 20th century. Modern warfare is just not sustainable. It is way too expensive and accomplish too little for its cost. Most Conflicts today will and should resolve by diplomacy. If Putin is a smart man, he would know this war is unwinnable and just use it as a cover-up for whatever hidden operation he has planned.

Oh, he's a 'brilliant' man according to Trump. But let's be real here, he is in an unstable mindset right now. At one point, this may have been about the gas and oil reserves in Ukraine, but the more it drags on, I think Kenya's envoy kinda hit the hammer over the head. Though I agree. After seeing some of the effects of those sanctions, war as we know it may be obsolete. It would be in everyone's benefit if the world leaders would stop using Ukraine as a dick measuring contest, because none of us want a war.
