Im fairly moderate and all but I feel like this sums up when i dont like him much.. hes such a fense sitter but in a bad way.. You could easily be moderate and tell facts without injecting your opinion into things.. When you start injecting your opinion like this you end up with inconsistant views.. On a side note, defunding and abolishing police solves nothing. Police definitey do too much as it is though, so some of their duties should be offloaded. Also neo-liberals are the reason i strafe more and more into right wing libertarian territory.

But neoliberalism is right-wing... I guess?

@reisenpai66 In the description of that link, there's a bigger clip to all that. Apparently, this in particular happened in the off YouTube segment. Ultimately it became the Oppression Olympics for Tim, giving anecdotal over anecdotal. I expect him to do better, be smarter about his arguments. It's one of his biggest flaws as well as bringing up how much he's from Chicago. With the defund the police narrative he's been pushing, it's in conjunction with (though they don't mention it here), if the voters want to defund the police, then they should. He knows and understands crimes go up, but backs the voters in their decision for those things to be edgy. "Yeah, defund the police, you get what you vote for."

@verucassault that video got intense, dude got angry. Im sure all of them in there were shaking in their boots. Tim changed his attitude real quick when that dude got angry. Push over talk show host. I would have told that guy he could leave. I have been watching his shownbut lowkey tuning it out. His shows have no sense of direction they just open debate and half the time its a promotional stream where people promote a product and shamelessly plug. I dont wanna hear about your dumb book, i want current events.

I think TImcast always has a sponsor, but Luke promotes his shirt business because he's been demonetized on YouTube. He can't make money from views or ads. I'm sure he has some sort of deal worked out with Tim to get a percentage for appearing on the show because in the time Luke was gone, a lot of people asked for him to come back or would hit him up in his own channel asking him to return to Timcast. He and Ian both at times keep Tim in check on certain things, hell even Lydia does when she speaks up 1 out of 10 shows. Tim is always sensationalizing things, saying there's going to be a civil war... well now the MSM are talking about it and I guarantee it's because it's been on his lips for the last year.

VerucAssault @verucassault Holy shit. I watched some of the earlier stuff. This prick constantly attacked Tim's character and more and when he gets a little back he acts like a fucking baby. What a low life piece of shit. People like this need to all go form their own country together and see how long it last. It would be glorious to watch it self destruct.

I tend to agree with the fence sitting thing, Also it seems as time is gone on Tim has become a little more sensationalized and less neutral or maybe he's always been like that and I didn't notice. And I know he was never true neutral or anything like that but he's definitely shifted. I am going to somewhat defend him on the civil war discussion, regardless of what I think about the subject. I do believe that the general reason and idea of why he discusses it. It is a reasonable to come to that potential conclusion. I do think he has a point when talking about the fact that it's unlikely for these events to de-escalate over time. We have seen more and more societal extremes occur in recent years that by themselves may not be an indication but together are an indication of a divide in this country that could lead to something more. Although history does show us the potential outcomes for what may come next I would also like to point out for every point in history a new twist has been added to similar events. For example people's breaking points tend to shift, as well as triggering events that can cause conflict, as well as conflict resolution and how conflicts are dealt with. For this country we have a near limitless number of possibilities. Any future divide could easily be mended by a great war or exasperated by it. Assuming that there isn't a great war in a divide does occur the power balance of the world would shift dramatically. There's also the possibility that the divide holds off to the point where China's aging population crisis comes into play causing both superpowers to be in crisis at the same time. That could potentially be a worldwide destabilizing issue. The next hegemony would be up for grabs for almost any nation that has their s*** together.
