Political rants

My point is, China's money is attractive to the outside. Not their culture.

Is that what's currently going on in your country, because here it was always more that neither party had their voter's interests, or the country in mind, and were instead bought off by the oligarchs and mega corporations who then went on to do neo colonialism for their own interests. Meanwhile Fox News demigogs the right by telling them who to be afraid of, while CNN covers the left and tells them how outrageous the republicans are. And when two parties battle, the third and their motives remain hidden. Meanwhile fuck this guy and everything he has sewn into the rhetoric of the country, we need adults in the room. Not circus clowns. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3E0a_60PMR8 The right isn't inherently fascist , and I would be the first to correct anyone who says otherwise. I still get along with small government conservatives, moderate conservatives, and on a few circumstances, even nationalists and authoritarian conservatives. Fascism is a different beast entirely. Again. I talk to those alt right people. They're in my family, they're in my friend network, and a few here are closer to it than they think, but these are the same people who tell me fascism isn't a real problem and there's hardly any of them. It's like BITCH, I TOLD YOU A MILLION TIMES! THEY REAL! HERE'S PROOF! NOW SHOW ME A REAL COMMUNIST THAT YOU'VE ACTUALLY TALKED TO IN REAL LIFE. TALKED TO, NOT ARGUED WITH! BECAUSE ALL I DOUBT YOU CAN TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THAT AND A LIBERAL! Ah jeeze, I still have that NNN anarchist energy. The hell set that off? Communists actually do pop up occasionally, but I can still tell the difference between their ideology and my own, and they don't try to trick me into it the way that fascists do. And none of them are nationalist or authoritarian enough to be China, and most of them never vote, the good for nothings.

@echo_coil Remember when Trump did the same? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HL7o6np84pg

They don't have a culture just unfiltered communism, but they're destroying ours and Japan. Now are you saying communism isn't tempting people? Heck look at our internet culture for a sec, things like "eat the rich" and so on fourth is slowly gearing to what China really wants. China culture died years ago, I honestly go to a play every year called "Shen Yun: China Before Communism". Which China actively forces people to shut down and not to go. https://www.saltlakecountyarts.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/SY21-22_SLC_TheaterOnline_410x500.jpg

@chocopyro That's a really low blow, bad faith argumentation. 1. I'm not saying "China is great". 2. I am saying were being influenced, and the references to back me up. 3. Comparing me to Trump is not going to win your argument. 4. What I am saying is that we need to not be so oblivious and it's not strictly a right or left thing. 5. How you win arguments, is not comparing everyone to a alt right nazi or a conservative. This is the 3rd time you try denounce me on a platform by labeling me, if ya wanna look more approachable and convince people to your side consider not doing that. https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/facebook/001/419/757/3cf.png

A fully Communist country would refuse to import American and Japanese culture in such copious amount. China is Marxist in its core, but still adapted to Liberalism when it wanted to oppose the Soviet Union. Its economical system isn't Communist. But honestly. When I see China (and Taiwan), I only see a western cultured metropolis that happens to be populated by the Han Chinese. Where is the soft power of that?
nebelstern
All that China does in the outside is to try have others do its bidding, like any Imperialist country like the US, Russia, Saudi Arabia and Turkey. That's the thing. China will always suffer popular backlash because people didn't accept its culture.

@echo_coil When did I call you alt right? You've implied it softly once which was basically a giveaway, but I've given you the benefit of the doubt anyways. I was talking to Nebelstern about my perception of politics in the country. Actually, tell me honestly. Something about the way you format your sentences has always struck me as odd and formulaic. U a bot?
echo_coil
Now I'm a bot, for having a different opinion? Are you serious @chocopyro . I think your not that good on the debate spectrum, I honestly enjoy @nebelstern 2nd post right now. Cause it's actual conversation, and makes a lot of sense atm. Your just playing pigeon chess with me here. https://i.imgur.com/pheghE9.png?fb

I'll go for now, but I'm pretty sure if you let @nebelstern do his thing, he would've convinced me on the communism argument. After all it's Thanksgiving. Remember this isn't the "Left Politics Rants" thread, and I'm in neither party cause I'm a man with his own opinions. My party: Common sense.
