Jan 6th wasnt even that bad. The media shows one police officer get crushed and then one person died which happened to be the person storming the Capitol. The one cop who died after being hit by a fire extinguisher apparently didnt even die from that. Like how is that even remotely anything close to a terror attack.

One thing I hate about Twitter is that there are so many BS ways to back out after being an ass to people. You can delete or hide their comments, you can private your account, you can block people and there are probably even more things.

@momoichi I think it is fair if you don't tip the waiter/waitress when you make the same if not less amount of money they do . Also you used to at least attempt to have a reasonable discussion, now your just being toxic, and not in the funny kinda way.
@Panda-kun no offense, don't go into politics. Even if you did, you would need like 30 decent human beings to slog through the shit train and come out clean with you to get anything done and I don't see that happening.

@qwertyzbra that's exactly why I don't frequent this board very often (also because I dont want to get into the middle of an argument without being somewhat informed)

This is basically the emotion behind every fire fighter, every first responder, even military members because we are forced to get vaccinated. It didnt just end with keystone pipeline and laying off hundreds of workers. Now thousands are gonna be out of a job. Then people will be like "if it mattered so much to you then get the shot" but there is deeper reasoning behind this. Like there are way too many people who arent taking this.

I wonder how much of this vaccine rebellion is true. Is a majority of the population ACTUALLY not vaccinated or is it just half and half

I think for some it doesn't matter if you are vaxxed or not. It's a problem with authoritarianism and mandates. I'm vaxxed, I oppose mandates. I have spoke to a lot of people in the medical field that feel the same way. Look at what's happening in New York:
https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/new-york-hospital-pause-delivering-babies-after-staffers-quit-rather-n1279001
An upstate New York hospital system said it will be forced to "pause" maternity services this month because some employees' refusal to get vaccinated against Covid-19 has caused staffing shortages.

A quote from a doctor I spoke to giving me feedback about a facilities that was going to impose mandates on vaccines for employees:
"They are mandating vaccine and I cannot work for a company that would do that.
They need to realize there are plenty of places for those to work who do not. As a board certified ER doctor with 15 years experience and 0 malpractice claims I can get a job any day of the week."
And they are right. Unless all the facilities start mandating. Then things will really blow up.
