extreme opinion, but if your unvaccinated due to personal choice, you shouldn't get a bed if the hospital is over capasity hospital staff has been over worked for nearly 2 years now, and now that theres a vaccine out that will make it so you are extremely unlikely to need hospitalization, they shouldn't be punished for your ignorance you dont listen to medical concensious regarding vaccinations, why are you going to the hospital when you do get covid? why should you add to over whelmed hospitals and exhausted healthcare workers you are as stupid and selfish as someone that drives home drunk (although at least they have intoxication as an excuse for their poor judgment) thats like someone saying that hate the police but call them when they're scared, your a hypocrite you should get a tent outside the hospital full of facebook doctors since thats the superior source

@momoichi so i have 2 sides to this argument. Yes i feel that is fair and a small price to pay for freedom. But by what you are saying it also contradicts itself. So unvaccinated cant get a hospital bed would imply the vaccinated would. Which would mean the vaccine was useless. So it comes full circle back to why cant unvaccinated get a bed at the hospital? Also for the hospital staff thing being overworked THAT IS YOUR JOB hot take from myself. But i cannot tell you how bad working in medical is when it comes to getting breaks. I work in a military clinic and as you know like all other government agencies we get federal holidays off. Not the clinic though. we are unable to close for more than 4 days at a time. So i get to choose whether i want to work new years or work Christmas week. I dont get 2 weeks off like everyone else. When everyone else got to shut down because of gas shortages we were expected to come in all week. When hurricane cat 4 was plowing through it took the entire base shutting down for our boss to say dont come in to work. Prior to that he said it wasnt a big deal. Thats what comes with working in medical. You dint get breaks, especially military medical. I get to work 12-16 hour shifts every friday just to give out those dumb vaccines. So yeah maybe the unvaccinated shouldnt get a bed. But why would the vaccinated get one when that was the whole point?

@hell_hound7 there is no contradiction, because as i said in my own statement, its very rare that vaccinated people will get that sick. they atleast TRIED to protect themselves and those around them, they atleast took the healthcare professionals' advice. seatbelts are not useless, even if they dont protect 100% of the time. it boggles my mind that people dont understand this. it really does. also, fuck your hot take, even if they technically signed up for this that is no reason to make them suffer due to a large group of peoples ignorance i can also not tip my waiter, but that would make me a douchebag

id like to add that my opinion only stands with overwhelmed hospitals if an idiot plays with a firecracker and blows his hand up, i dont think he should be barred from the hospital purely because of his own stupidity its when you take up beds that people with genuine medical conditions could use and exhaust medical care workers do i think you should be barred they already do this when hospitals are over capacity, picking the most sick to take in, so i say implement this now. stop letting in people who chose to be unvaxxed if their full or give up beds to people with other issues

I wonder who came up with this dumb seat belt metaphor. The seatbelt stops you from flying 10 feet through your windshield. Being unvaccinated is like driving a motorcycle. No seat belt and you wouldnt be required to have one. You are in control of whether you live or die. If you hit someone its probably game over. So what do you do? Not hit people. Same for unvaccinated, practice safe hygiene and you wont die. We did it for a whole year, you mean to tell me after a whole year with no vaccine people cant do it? Taking the steps necessary to prevent getting sick without the vaccine is the same as getting the vaccine and not soing anything besides that. You arent safe just having the vaccine but are safe if you have it and still mask wear and social distance. So if you skip the vaccine and social distance instead you wont get sick but on the off chance you do you wont be priority to someone who got vaccinated? I feel the other way around should be the case. They need the bed more than you because you got vaccinated for that reason.

_______ will protect you more than half the time from potentially lethal danger vaccines will protect you more than half the time from potentially lethal danger seatbelts will protect you more than half the time from potentially lethal danger both of these statements are factual. idk if i can break it down anymore simply than that

The vaccine wasnt useless, anti body counts lower over time.. just like how you would get the flu vax every year, you probably should get the covid vax every 6 months. I think the biggest problem is people have a predisposition against this vaccine in particular because social media is now more relevant than ever, giving everyone a voice, so theres a lot of FUD and bullshit out there. Lot of voices planting seeds of doubt. I love my fair share of vax memes but dont fall for the propaganda.
hell_hound7
Dont fall for propaganda? Alright cool, imma leave it at that. The differences between a conspiracy theory and actual truth is couple months. We will see who ends up being right in the end. Keep that same faith in the vaccine when news articles start popping up (like it already has been)
hell_hound7
This side hasnt been wrong so far XD we already got you dudes on the border crisis. What next?
