But none of these topics would ever even make it across our politicians desk. We really need to fix out own government first.

what do you mean free money? do you mean the unemployment? or the stimulus checks? or the ubi that's being tested in California? that's a very open ended statement xD

the stimulus checks mainly went into savings accounts, and maybe there's an argument against how high unemployment is right now. i do think that we need a higher federal minimum wage but at the same time if unemployment really is the cause of the jobs crisis then yeah maybe there is a problem there
I'm very, very, very against demonizing people on public welfare though, so I'm still on the fence that its too high

Well thankfully the issue was only isolated to around 100 cases as far as what I can tell. So whatever influence that was causing problems wasn't very widespread. As far as I'm concerned, misrepresentation of the situation and the situation itself are what were the cause of those poisonings. As far as Biden stalling China, it's not doing much of anything. Ideally what would go on would be a double whammy of tariffs on Chinese produced goods and federal tax breaks for opening up American manufacturing plants. China is basically a leech off of the American economy, producing our goods and reaping the financial reward.
I do think that Mexico is something we do need to deal with. They aren't a bad nation as far as economics go, in fact they are decent. I think there are a few things that do need ironing out and we would have a good situation. I have a few ideas on how to get rid of the cartels, granted a few of them would go into total chaos for a short period.

As the old saying goes, "Throw money at the problem and it will remain."
I think that the main issues is that we aren't providing incentive to foreign nations to do business with us. Can you imagine if we opened mining companies in Africa for raw materials and hired the local populace to perform the work? Perhaps even open up manufacturing plants there.

See thats the issue we will do these things, even stuff such as building hospitals for countries in africa. But they cannot maintain them. They dont have the infrastructure for it. So that money goes to waste, and then we send more to the government who doesnt lead their country well. And its a cycle that repeats. There is a saying somewhere that some parts of africa was the wealthiest in terms of resources but their population lives in poverty.

imo opinion the biggest issues wer dealing with is the prison industrial complex, the war on drugs, china's growing influence, funding into renewable resources like nuclear fusion and fission, our shitty ass infrastructure, and helping Mexico (off the top of my head, i may have missed some huge ass problems lol)
@dyadka_yar how is the media reporting on it making more cases when they were all dunking on how stupid it was?
on the china thing, wont price of good sky rocket if we don't outsource them to third world countries? isn't that why we do it to begin with? to keep costs low so that these goods are more widely accessible? low cost labor = low cost product, so how will Americans be able to afford these items if the workers are paid an appropriate wage?

Well when a procedure is costing someone upwards of 20k with no way around it how does that actually become affordable? Even dudes in the military who are supposed to be healthy yet have free healthcare and hundreds of appointments within the span of a couple years. How does that become affordable?

Nobody reads the actual article itself. They see the headline, "Trump suggests drinking bleach/disinfectant". While you and I would look into that, you have to consider that the average person doesn't. It's unfortunate, but that is what happens more often than not.
As far as tariffs on China and tax breaks. This is something that businesses will have to consider. If the rule was that they didn't have to pay taxes on building the new production plant they would have to consider that with paying the taxes for production in Mexico or another country that has the labor outsourced. Not to mention the reduction in costs of transportation of the goods. These cost reductions might be enough for a production plant to pay it's workers higher premiums than that of the current industry standard.
