Hmmm yes, call me out as a mod to emphasize i hold a position of power but then not say why that is relevant. Because i havent banned anyone who is a leftie. Infact another mod LAMBY is left leaning. She is just on hiatus rn, but i debate with her all the time. You gonna call her out as well? You dudes make me laugh, we havent chased anyone away. Also political discourse here isnt healthy, meanwhile on reddit in subs meant to be both sides of the aisle its nothing but calling Republicans degrading names. Racist, fascist, bigots, white supremacists, going as far to say their lives dont matter. Also i dont direspect people who dont hold the same view as me. I respect everyone's view. I just dont have to agree with it. I can attack your argument with supporting arguments from my side. That is how a debate works. If you wish to debate that is totally cool again you are welcome. But if you have nothing to imput other than i hurt your feelings. Then idk what else to tell you. Truth hurts. Maybe this is the character development you need in your life.

See? Already talking down to me even though I tried to be as respectful, yet honest, as possible. No, I will not call out Lamby because she is always very VERY respectful. How was i disrespectful? I called you no names, i didnt insult your intelligence, i didnt insult your belief or ideals i simply said if i hurt your feelings that is beyond my control because it wasnt intentional. Perception is reality and what you perceive to be hurtful doesnt convey across separate entities. What is normal for me might be hurtful for you. But i have been nothing but respectful. You probably just dont like me and as a result take offense to everything i say because its me who said it. As for the reddit thing. What are you comparing this thread to? You said it wouldnt be considered healthy so what is the standard for healthy in a political debate. Give me an example because i already provided one. If thats not acceptable then give me your example. This isnt a political board but a political thread on a public board. There is no rule saying i have to not talk about politics. Same way there is no rule saying anything but anime is banned. Since this is an anime dating board, by that logic everything is off topic.

You were absolutely talking down to me right off the bat. You also have been outright insulting to those who haven't agreed with you on politics. Just because you want to be civil right now, doesn't mean you have behaved appropriately in the past. I think you need to be a big boy and admit this. I've seen this "give me an example" thing from you before and it results in someone wasting their time just so you can continue to deny it. No one said you can't talk about politics. Keeping it contained to a thread is a step in a good direction because you all seriously made this place a mess before. This is what my original post was about but you seriously tried to argue with me over that, which is a good example why the political discourse here isn't "healthy".

Well and I don't even know who you are but even if I don't agree with someone's politics I can get along with them. Whether you can get along as well is entirely up to you. *shrug*
