See there are alot of things biden has said sort of incentivizing people to come. Such as not separating families and allowing them through while they await asylum. Now ik this is exactly how catch and release is supposed to work, but that massive spike that trump saw during his presidency could have been due to a shift in how things are down there. Maybe it has gotten worse over the years and those living conditions are so unbearable. Not to mention the fact this virus is going on and alot of things are going downhill some of these south American countries probably wont get a vaccine distribution for years to come. All the major manufacturers are gonna worry about the big money countries and the smaller ones will get it whenever they get it. There could be alot of factors at play here. No lamby listen to what i say and understand it. When it was trump they appeared cuz times were getting harder and he basically made an example out of the people that came. If you come here, you will get split up you will stay in these places and you will not be coming into america. He set up where people would have to wait in mexico while awaiting asylum. It might not have to do with the policies of the administration, but rather the tactics that the cartels are using now. Human trafficking is a much more lucrative business than drugs right now and the lowest price "plan" that the cartels have is $3,000 per person going up to $10,000 for a premium package. Starting in 2019 their plan was to basically flood the facilities with people and use them as a distraction so that the actual borders themselves went fairly unguarded. It is a dirty tactic that requires a bit of thought to fight. Million dollar question is how.
