why aren't women going into jobs like construction, lumberjack or underwater welder, those all pay well but guess those aren't so nice are they?

because men are on average stronger and more likely to take risks than women women are on average more social and therefore more likely to take jobs where they interact with people glad i could answer that tedious question for ya, sensei lambys in the thread

exactly, but it's not really something you can complain about, those job pay higher but there's a higher risk involved

no. the highest paying jobs arent the riskiest and more strenuous, its usually the opposite. "A new study from researchers at Cornell University found that the difference between the occupations and industries in which men and women work has recently become the single largest cause of the gender pay gap, accounting for more than half of it. In fact, another study shows, when women enter fields in greater numbers, pay declines — for the very same jobs that more men were doing before. Consider the discrepancies in jobs requiring similar education and responsibility, or similar skills, but divided by gender. The median earnings of information technology managers (mostly men) are 27 percent higher than human resources managers (mostly women), according to Bureau of Labor Statistics data. At the other end of the wage spectrum, janitors (usually men) earn 22 percent more than maids and housecleaners (usually women)." https://www.nytimes.com/2016/03/20/upshot/as-women-take-over-a-male-dominated-field-the-pay-drops.html does a better job explaining it then i do like i said i still need to do more research on this (specifically the different jobs in question) but if any of you actually gave two shits about this subject beside being triggered by le feminism, id give it a read
