Biden and the other dems are using this as an excuse to ban them. I forget what practice this is usually the sign of where they ban weapons in order to control the citizens with an oppressive military/police force

So apparently sydney powell said that trump's election fruad conspiracies werent factual. From what im hearing people were saying no sane person would buy into her claims. But its all good, its not over until the Arizonian fat lady sings.

The firearm used in the shooting was a "pistol class" weapon with a brace on it. An "assault weapons ban" is going to cover rifle class weapons. Does this make sense? I'm extremely doubtful this is meant to be a policy intended to benefit the common citizenry instead of simply restricting the rights of the peasants. @hell_hound7 I wouldn't consider it the best idea to announce to the world you are going to buy a firearm that may or may not be legal within the same year of said statement. Some countries impose forced buy backs. So they give you a time frame to turn in your arms, they will cut you a check. I guess if someone with a registered weapon doesn't turn it in, eventually they come a'knocking. Or just issue a warrant or something. Dunno how it works but it's a thing.

@verucassault That's the funny thing. The vast majority of states in the US don't require any sort of firearm registration. So in states like NH that don't have any sort of state registry, it would be officers going door to door saying, "Hello good sir or madame. Do you have any firearms?" So a gun buyback system would be based entirely on the honor system. However it comes down to who do I trust more with such things, the government or myself?
