Basically nothing, if you take guns away people cant defend themselves. You can always order parts and make your own gun. Its not hard there are schematics online, people make counterfeits all the time. Stopping people from buying them doesnt stop the issue, same way video games dont cause violence.

lol it cant be nothing, this isnt a human problem its an American problem well that's the same argument with legalizing anything, like drugs 'well people will just make their own drugs, why make it illegal', its an appeal to futility i wish i knew more about guns to i could try theorize a solution. maybe we should have guns that are registered be more closely watched, in Canada if someone calls in and says your a threat, they take your guns, no questions asked. maybe something like that if wer worried about unstable people with fire arms

This isnt a people problem there is something fundamentally wrong with these people. Like you dont just wake up one day and say lemme shoot up my local grocery store. These people have mental issues. Guns arent the problem. Same way someone shoots and kills their family they can just as easily stab them to death with a kitchen knife. We arent the only country with mass shootings. Hell in europe i would say they have bomb threats just like we have mass shootings.

I dont think there is a system that can be put on place to stop this. You can run a background check all day and night but if theh have no issues prior then how would you know?

@hell_hound7 what is more wrong with these people then people in any other country and what causes them to be this way? lets say that America does have more mental illness (i think i saw a chart that it does) isn't that more reason for us to stricken our gun laws to protect these people from themselves and others? what separates guns from knives and cars is guns are not a utility, theyr purely for murder, and as far as bombs go, guns are easier obtained and bombs often go off unexpectedly, don't go off at all, or the explosion isn't as intense as they want why do you think guns are the most commonly used compared to the three? it clearly has the highest utility in mowing down a bunch of people easily and effectively

Infact...imma use the bombing we had earlier this year or last year? Dude rigged his RV to explode. And you think guns are the real danger? People can always make a bomb from common household items
