@kuharido Brown people just means anyone who isn't white, which is stupid because even white people are just a pale shade of brown. How that translates to the old pedigree stuff was that... Okay, so basically at the turn of the century, there was this stupid idea called Eugenics. And they had this concept called Pedigree. They wanted to breed fine americans to be the perfect example of the human species. And that meant that any person with even a drop of native american, black, or whatever in their blood was of mixed race, no matter how white they were. And once all the mixed races were sent into the hills to live with the scotch-irish, and other 'lesser whites', they were dubbed the "Hillbillies". That's why a lot of Appalachians have similar socioeconomic circumstances to the ghettos. Being described by one commissioner from the UN as "third world conditions." (<.< Fuck that guy, I only know two people with a toilet in their front lawn.) Essentially to keep them locked into an area where upward mobility isn't as feasible, and make sure they don't taint the Eugenicist's ideals of what they felt whiteness should be.

I feel like there is a lot of misinformation going on, on this site. This is not really a site to talk about politics. Get your studies, get your sources but to not build just an opinion regarding one post, one Youtube-video or whatever. I do not think this thread is good for discussing politics. It is more like, everyone post their own videos/documents they saw in the last 24 hours and they somehow agreed with. Real Journalism is like a ton of research and requires a lot of work, comparing articles and reading studies... in this entire thread there are no studies, that have been compared.

@chocopyro yes, eugenics is an exciting subject. I was just curious of your cultural background. I just like different cultures, customs, history, etc.
