@reisenpai66 Why do you think that? Now most of our allies hate us, and I would hardly call that diplomatic. Plus we were still at war during the entire duration of his presidency, even if we didn't start new ones. And being all buddy buddy with authoritarian regimes does not look good on the world stage for us. Also, any of us on the left that begrudgingly voted for him knew it was going to happen, since he is in that 'corporate centrist' part of the DNC that voted for the war. That was a huge red flag in the primaries, but they pulled some sneaky shit on us to not get a progressive candidate.

The only thing that give NK leverage is its trade relations with China and their strong military force. It is a force to be reckoned with in the Far East.

in my opinion biden shouldnt have responded to Putin at all, this is all extremely childish and these are grown ass adults, but I'm glad he isn't kissing their ass like trump did still don't approve of it though. biden should just ignore it like a fucking adult

@momoichi Russia has had alliances with Syria going far back since at least the 60s. Iran has been closer to China, but prefers to buy weapons from Russia. The Middle East is something very interesting since we have two spheres of influence. You have Saudi Arabia who is allied with the US and other Western Nations and Iran/Syraia who is more aligned with Russia and China, if Saudi Arabia is dominant then the West gains influence. If Iran/Syria is dominant then the East gains influence. Everybody else is more or less a stepping stone. As far as North Korea goes, it was basically Trump mocking North Korea's position in the world. It is a nation that is trying to show off power it doesn't have and with Trump mocking him it breaks the illusion of North Korea's supposed power. To worry about the nuclear weapons is to be worried about nothing. People like to think of leaders of other nations as stupid and not knowing consequences. Kim Jong Un is no fool, he has power in his nation and he wants to keep it. He fires the nuclear weapons and that's it, forces around the world will crush his regime as if it were a bothersome insect.

So you purposely voted a bad candidate to get rid of another bad candidate. Makes sense. Most of our allies hate us? Didnt Trudeau get mad when we did the whole trade thing. RU and PRC are no doubt threats to the USA, but to say RU is an equal threat to PRC isn't really true. RU is more a threat to itself than to us at this point, given the civil unrest going on with Putin's administration. Our main quarrels with the RU are pretty much related to cyber affairs, and competing in the Middle East as far as I know. There are occasional "standoffs" between US and RU patrols. PRC is also conducting operations against us in the cyber realm and managing to steal our military technology. They are building up militarily to control the waters of Asia, threating the region and the USA's own economic interests. Their military is largely superior to the RU military, and they are far wealthier. During the Trump administration we were getting closer to open hostilities with the PRC. I don't think Biden is keen on angering the Xi, and will likely focus more on the Middle East to clash with Putin instead. o7

@chocopyro We've worked with the russians for years. They've been sending us to space for the last decade till spacex came into the scene. Dont see any harm in being on good terms with that. Trump eased tensioned with the middle east. Sure trump also said dumb shit all the damn time but those words were as empty as all the other cucks voicing their concerns considering days later you see him meeting these people and working shit out. and 0 new wars is better than potentially starting a new one.

Yeah facts. Trump was pushing china's buttons but i highly doubt there is anything we can do to stop china. This isnt one of the problems america can solve anymore. It will either end with war or we get consumed by china. To stop them outright would mean every country would need to stop pouring money into them. But thats not possible.
