@hell_hound7 nope. never said that. being white isn't a plus, its a neutral being a minority can be a negative to your life experience, CAN, not always ofcourse, everyone's experiences are unique but statistically speaking like my example, I'm more likely to be sexually assaulted, and there for you have privilege over me in that regard however, that privilege stops being a thing if we were to go to prison, because male prisons are much rougher than females privilege fluctuates

But if there is anything im gonna agree on it is that privilege does exist. The sort of privilege that gives people with nothing to worry about....something to worry about. When you have it so good you can openly be gay and not stoned in the street by the entire community. Why not complain about gays not being in movies or video games.

No, I'm talking to Hell_hound7 about the historical context behind "whiteness" in leftist theory, not about your perception of what it means. @nebelstern I use communists because that is who I identify as the ones that push the concept. It is just simpler. I don't care to get too detailed about terminology. I only do reading and research about things I think are interesting and don't actually care about academia or the like. @hell_hound7 The point is that America isn't a communist society. That is why there are "privileged" people. Anyone who benefits from America as it is, is essentially privileged or "white". Because there are racial groups who are perceived to be more successful than others in this capitalist society, communists look at them as privileged. The communists want to destroy American society as it is, and turn it into a communistic one. They see America as a "system of oppression" that needs to be dismantled. Whether they do it by guns or by ballot, doesn't matter to them as long as they can instill change. o7

@hell_hound7 im glad you can see privilege exists being gay in America as opposed to Iraq is a form of privilege, yes i also think minorities should have bigger roles in media, and its almost entirely straight white men
