I'm going to start with a question. Do you want a real long term relationship or are you just looking to date around/ get experience in dating/ do what the other kids are doing? Let me hit you with some statistics and you can make up your own mind about what you want. 98% of high school relationships don't last in this day and age for obvious reasons, people have a longer life span, people go out of state sometimes out of country for college and so on I could name a million other reasons. I can name only one couple in my high school and in most of the surrounding high schools that actually stuck together after high school and have a happy healthy relationship. Again with the whole life span extended thing people in high school or from 10,12,13 on I'll say during or after puberty are staying "kids" a lot longer a lot of them into their mid 20's meaning a lot of them have trouble dealing with the responsibility and work of a serious relationship, and of course our economic situation effects that right now as well. It's just getting harder and harder to take someone out these days.

To make it short, do you want a long happy relationship, or a few short drama filled ones? If your school is anything like my school was everyone will break up and get with new people month to month or week to week. I wouldn't want that for my high school self and I'm now happy I never seriously dated anyone and mostly just enjoyed my time being a kid. I'm now old enough and mature enough where I feel I can date and have a good relationship with this girl I've been talking to. We are on the same level and understand what we have to do if we want it to work. I couldn't have done that in high school. What ever you decide I'm sure we will all be here for you at MaiOtaku cuzz Otaku stick together. So enjoy being a kid, have some fun, and don't worry about what the other people are doing. They are trying to grow up to fast and are just making things more complicated for themselves than it needs to be. What ever you decide hve fun, be safe, and good luck to you. :)
