I like a Romanian saying, "The mother of idiots is always pregnant." Basically meaning there are going to be idiots no matter what.

@beherit I have heard that name used for sandwiches even in my area. ___________________ A favorite greeting used by my mother's family is, "Alright fellas, what's the Commie plot for today? How we painting this town red tonight?" My father is quite fond of using the phrase, "It's all thanks to Yankee ingenuity!" As well as, "Let the Big Ranger in the sky worry about the problems us soldiers on the ground can't control."

Honestly, in Wisconsin, only one I know thats close is our slogan: "America's Dairyland" Some others i found online (though I doubt their Validity): -"Where we cut the cheese" (Since we are known for Cheese this would make sense) -"I hope the wings are up." (In reference to the Milwaukee Art Museum's Calatrava, which I am sure most of you who didnt travel here outside of coming for a convention or grow up here would probably mistake the MAM for a giant boat) One I made up: -"We're not New Jersey" If anyone else who lives in Wisconsin knows any sayings, please tell me. Edit: some other quotes are "I gotta go to the Tyme Machine" (Tyme was a brand of ATMs that originated in WI)
